  8. Venus638FLPx is a high performance, low cost, single
  9. chip GPS receiver targeting mobile consumer and cellular
  10. handset applications. It offers very low power
  11. consumption, high sensitivity, and best in class signal
  12. acquisition and time-to-first-fix performance.&lt;p&gt;
  13. Venus638FLPx contains all the necessary components of
  14. a complete GPS receiver, includes 1.2dB cascaded
  15. system NF RF front-end, GPS baseband signal processor,
  16. 0.5ppm TCXO, 32.768kHz RTC crystal, RTC LDO
  17. regulator, and passive components. It requires very low
  18. external component count and takes up only 100mm2
  19. PCB footprint.&lt;p&gt;
  20. Dedicated massive-correlator signal parameter search
  21. engine within the baseband enables rapid search of all the
  22. available satellites and acquisition of very weak signal. An
  23. advanced track engine allows weak signal tracking and
  24. positioning in harsh environments such as urban canyons
  25. and under deep foliage. The self-contained architecture keeps GPS processing off
  26. the host and allows integration into applications with very
  27. little resource.&lt;p&gt;
