This pin is used to read data from this device. Connect this pin to the 'SPI Data In' (DI/DIN/SI) pin or to a digital input pin of your controller

This pin is used to write protect this device and is active low. Connect this pin to a digital output of your controller or to the positive rail or 0V (ground) of your power supply. When presented with a logic low signal or connected to 0V (ground) the EEPROM will be write protected and memory contents cannot be altered

Connect to the 0V (ground) of the power supply in your circuit

This pin is used to write data into this device. Connect this pin to the 'SPI Data Out' (DO/DOUT/SO) pin or to a digital output pin of your controller

This pin is used to clock data in and data out of the device. Connect this pin to the 'SPI Clock' (SCK/SCLK) pin or to a digital output pin of your controller

This pin is used to pause communications to this device and is active low. Communications will be paused when this pin has a logic low presented to it. Connect this pin to a digital output pin of your controller or connect to the positive rail of the power supply for this circuit if communications are not to be paused
