Connect to the LCD module 'E' pin

This is the serial input used to control the FRM010. Connect to a digital output of your controller via a 1K resistor or via a 22K resistor when connected directly to a PC or to an input signal whose voltage is greater than the power supply

Connect via a 4K7 resistor to the positive rail of the power supply in your circuit. This pin must be connected via the 4K7 resistor or the FRM010 will not operate correctly. This pin can also be connected to a switch to 0V (ground) to provide a manual 'reset button' for the FRM010

Connect to the 0V (ground) of the power supply in your circuit

Connect to the LCD module 'D4' pin

Connect to the LCD module 'D5' pin

Connect to the LCD module 'D6' pin

Connect to the LCD module 'D7' pin

Connect this pin to 0V (ground) to display a welcome message. Leave this pin unconnected to not display the welcome message

Connect this pin to 0V (ground) to select 9600 baud operation. Leave the pin unconnected to select 2400 baud operation

Connect this pin to 0V (ground) when connected directly to a PC or controlled by a PICAXE using an 'N' baud rate. Leave this pin unconnected when controlled by a PICAXE using a 'T' baud rate

Connect this pin to 0V (ground) for a single line display. Leave the pin unconnected for a two line display

Connect to the positive rail of the power supply in your circuit

Connect this pin to a 4MHz resonator. Without a resonator fitted the FRM010 will not function.

Connect this pin to a 4MHz resonator. Without a resonator fitted the FRM010 will not function.

Connect this pin to a LED plus current limiting resistor to 0V (ground) of your power supply to indicate that communications are being received

Power for the LCD module. Connect to the LCD module 'VCC' pin
